Allison McDowell
Allison joined NASHP in February 2022 as a research analyst with the Coverage, Cost, and Value team. She is involved in projects related to lowering pharmacy, hospital, and health system costs through tracking changes in state health legislation and working with various state actors. Before joining NASHP, Allison held roles as data analyst intern at a regional psychological center, and research assistant studying antimicrobial resistance trends for the University of Oslo. She graduated with a BA in International Relations and minor in Women and Gender Studies from Michigan’s Grand Valley State University in 2016, and a Master’s in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from the University of Oslo in 2020.
