NASHP is sponsoring a state officials-only webinar to explore the details and potential implications of Massachusetts’ recent health reform legislative proposal. Secretary of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders will provide an overview of the initiative and discuss the state’s proposal for managing health care cost drivers while seeking to support community hospitals and health centers. NASHP is working with states to develop cost-growth benchmarks and other strategies to stem rising health system costs, and will feature additional resources at its website soon.
