Whole Person Health and Healthy Communities
States are increasingly transforming their health care delivery systems to improve their residents’ overall health and well-being. Many are taking a whole person health approach – aligning systems, policies, and investments with clinical and social factors associated with positive health outcomes. Some are forging new partnerships with communities across their states to meet their unique health objectives.
NASHP supports state officials on a variety of initiatives, including health and housing, return from incarceration, state-community infrastructure, and evidence- and data-informed approaches to improving health for all.
