State Strategies to Improve Nursing Home Care

by NASHP

NASHP’s Nursing Home Learning Collaborative brings together seven states that are working to improve care for nursing home residents. Priority issues in nursing home reform include quality, staffing, oversight, payment, and ownership. Innovations from the Nursing Home Learning Collaborative states can serve as examples for states seeking to advance similar reforms.

Join this webinar to hear state leaders from three of the participating states, Kentucky, Maine, and Pennsylvania, discuss their states’ innovations.

Speakers will share such insights as:

  • Recruiting and retaining nursing home staff
  • Centering nursing home reform around residents’ voice and rights
  • Staffing incentives in value-based payment programs
  • Technical assistance to support and improve nursing home care
  • Oversight and data collection on nursing home ownership
