Robin Buskey joined NASHP’s Child and Family Health team in September 2022 as a senior policy associate. Prior to joining NASHP, Robin was a policy analyst for the Virginia Department of Health’s Office of Family Health Services (OFHS), where she oversaw legislative, policy and regulatory processes to ensure quality deliverables for a portfolio of public health programs for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Robin was a member of the OFHS leadership team and is experienced in strategic planning, project management, policy research and analysis, and program evaluation and monitoring. She was a key member of the accreditation team responsible for securing the agency’s national accreditation status and the workgroup responsible for developing the agency’s performance management system. She has also held roles in grants administration and previously worked in local social services child welfare and public assistance programs. Robin has a BS in Marketing from Hampton University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College.
