Tier McCullough joined NASHP’s Behavioral, Population, and Public Health team in August 2023 as a research analyst and is now a policy associate. At NASHP she works on projects focused on mental health, behavioral health integration, the behavioral health workforce, Medicaid managed care, and reentry populations. Prior to joining NASHP, Tier worked in health insurance, focusing on utilization and quality management. She has also conducted research on evidence-based practices aimed at building resiliency among youth and adolescent populations experiencing depression and anxiety. Tier holds a BA in Public Policy & Nonprofit Management from New York University, an MPH in Health Policy and Management from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy, and an MS in Health Informatics, with a concentration in Data Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
