Sam Mermin joined NASHP in June 2022 as a research analyst with the Behavioral Health, Aging, and Disability team. He works on projects related to behavioral health, substance use disorder, and opioid use disorder. Prior to joining NASHP, Sam conducted research on eviction and housing policy as an intern for Avesta Housing in Maine. Additionally, he worked as an intern for MaineHealth’s Homeless HealthPartners program. Sam graduated from Williams College in 2022 with a BA in psychology and history.
