This resource provides an introduction to key terms and acronyms relevant to new Medicaid reentry policies from both the corrections and health and human services sectors. A working knowledge of these terms will help readers understand the changes to the Medicaid program that are starting to take place with respect to reentry, as well as other reentry initiatives, that states are implementing to support the health and well-being of individuals returning to the community from correctional facilities.
This project is a partnership between NASHP and The Health Reentry Project (HARP).
