The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP), in partnership with West Health and the Milbank Memorial Fund, has selected six states to participate in its Aging Policy Academy:
- Arizona
- Indiana
- Louisiana
- Montana
- New Jersey
- Ohio
The Academy aims to assist states with accelerating measurable progress on policies that will address the needs of older adults, while optimizing state spending and capacity.
Teams in each of these states will receive technical assistance and engage with each other and national experts as they identify ways to improve elements of their home and community-based services, nursing homes, and the direct care workforce system.
The Academy’s goal is to develop and strengthen policies to support an aging population. At the end of the Academy, NASHP will share insights and promising practices with other state policymakers and the public to improve aging policies across states.
