As more states convene multiple payers in their medical home initiatives and work to align payment policies, concerns regarding antitrust liability for states, private health care payers and other participants will need to be addressed. With support from The Commonwealth Fund, NASHP program manager Barbara Wirth and program director Mary Takach surveyed 14 states with multi-payer medical home initiatives.
