Improving Health Through Housing

Thursday, August 22, 3:30 pm – 5 pm
Safe, stable, and affordable housing can reduce health disparities, improve long-term outcomes, and reduce costs. This session highlights practical strategies for working across state agencies to address health through housing. Officials from Louisiana, Oregon, and Texas — three states participating in NASHP’s Health and Housing Institute — discuss their models, share strategies, and identify practical ideas to address health and housing.

Supported through NASHP’s Cooperative Agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), grant #UD3OA22891.
