Identifying and Addressing Barriers to Accessing Early Intervention Services

Early Intervention services can play a valuable role in promoting the healthy development of at-risk infants and young children. All too often, however, families and children who would benefit from Early Intervention services face barriers to accessing them. This Alumni webinar, sponsored by The Commonwealth Fund, focused on a new study that identifies potential barriers to Early Intervention services. Additional speakers discussed strategies to overcome these barriers from both the state Early Intervention perspective and from the state Medicaid and CHIP perspective.
