Dimensions of Dementia
Friday, August 23, 10:45 am – 12:15 pm
Nearly 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s disease, and experts project that number will increase to 14 million by 2050. As the population ages, states are exploring innovative ways to educate and support family caregivers, delay or avoid institutional placement, improve the quality of care in nursing facilities, and increase assisted living options. This session features diverse perspectives from states that are on the leading edge of dementia policy and practice.
