Brooks Daverman is the Director of the Strategic Planning and Innovation Group at the Tennessee Division of Health Care Finance and Administration. He has three areas of responsibility:
- Implement a statewide health care payment reform initiative;
- Monitor the federal health insurance exchange in Tennessee and analyze state options for response; and
- Manage state health insurance assistance programs including CoverKids (Tennessee’s CHIP program), AccessTN (a state high risk pool), CoverTN (a health insurance program for small businesses and individuals), and CoverRX (a pharmacy discount program) in a changing policy environment.
Mr. Daverman was previously an associate with Tennessee’s Insurance Exchange Planning Initiative. Prior to that, Mr. Daverman was an Analyst with Tennessee’s Division of Health Planning, where he was responsible for the creation of a database of all health insurance claims in Tennessee.
Mr. Daverman has a Masters in Public Policy from Duke University, and was raised in Nashville.
