Kimm Mooney, Research Assistant
Kimm Mooney joined NASHP in 2012. As a Research Assistant for the Health System Performance team, Kimm works on a number of projects that provide guidance to states regarding implementation of health care reform. Prior to joining NASHP, she was an intern at Knowledge for Health, a USAID-funded project whose mission is to improve health service delivery through the dissemination of evidence-based information. While an undergraduate, she completed an internship at the World Health Organization, where her work focused on malaria during pregnancy. Kimm received her BA in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University in 2011.

Building Safety Net Billing Capacity: State Support for a Solid Foundation
Monday, June 3, 20131:30 pm - 3:00 pmEDTSafety net providers will need to expand their capacity to participate in Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) when many of their patients gain insurance coverage in 2014. This webinar will discuss concrete ways that states can facilitate safety net provider participation in Medicaid and QHPs in order to serve newly insured and remaining uninsured populations. Speakers from Maryland and Texas will share examples of their work. This webinar is funded through NASHP’s NOSLO Cooperative Agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration.
